 t. Louis native <a href="https://www.jvasserelong.com/about">Jason Vasser-E
 long</a> is a literary artist\, cultural professional and leader in the reg
 ion’s creative arts scene. After earning his Master of Fine Arts in creativ
 e writing from University of Missouri–St. Louis in 2018\, Vasser-Elong publ
 ished his debut collection of poetry – "<a href="https://press.uchicago.edu
 /ucp/books/book/distributed/S/bo40171979.html">Shrimp</a>” – and had his wo
 rk featured in “<a href="https://www.stltoday.com/entertainment/books-and-l
 iterature/st-louis-anthology-wrangles-unusual-true-stories-from-every-corne
 r/article_8960e01e-e9c3-5872-8b06-9234b626fdc9.html">The St. Louis Antholog
 y</a>" the following year. <strong>Community</strong> is a central theme th
 roughout Vasser-Elong's art\, and he invites everyone to explore the inters
 ectionality of identity\, poetry and all roads in between.</p><p>During the
  live broadcast\, Vasser-Elong will be joined by a small group of BJC team 
 members\, who will help guide the discussion. Virtual participants will be 
 invited to join in the conversation through an online chat.</p><p><span sty
