On Tuesday\, July 26th from 12- 1 pm we will host a virtual celebration of the passing of the American with Disabilities Act on its 32nd anniversary. The event will start with a brief look at how advocacy and activism led to policies and culture shifts that have advanced disability inclusion in the U.S. This will be fo llowed by a panel discussion focusing on what is currently happening in thi s area more broadly and here at Washington University School of Medicine an d how individuals can become involved in supporting needed change to reduce stigma and improve accessibility for persons living with disabilities.
