  1920\, Henrietta Lacks was an African American woman\, wife and mother of 
 five. She also became the "Mother of Modern Medicine\," changing the world 
 with her immortal HeLa cells. Henrietta's HeLa cells\, taken without her or
  her family's knowledge or consent\, would become responsible for some of t
 he greatest scientific advancements of the last century and continue to ben
 efit all of humanity.  We will view part of the 1997 documentary film <em>T
 he Way of All Fles</em><em>h</em><em>\, </em>with reflecting remarks by Dr.
  Darrell Hudson\, Associate Professor at the Brown School. An opportunity f
