Ronald C. Strickler\, MD\, FRCSC\, MBA\, is Boa rd Certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) and retire d from clinical practice in 2018 to provide an educational resource to the fellows\, residents\, and medical students who spend time at Michigan Cente r for Fertility and Women’s Health (MCFWH). During his 20 years at Washingt on University in St. Louis\, he founded the first IVF program in Missouri\, published the first study demonstrating the value of ultrasound-guided emb ryo transfer\, and served as Program Director for the REI fellowship\, as w ell as Virginia S. Lang tenured Professor and Obstetrician/Gynecologist-in- Chief at the Jewish Hospital. During a second 20-year tenure at Henry Ford Health System\, he held the titles of Department Chairperson\, Residency Pr ogram Director\, Senior Staff REI\, and Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecol ogy at Wayne State University School of Medicine. Nationally\, Dr. Strickle r has been an Examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology for both the general and REI-subspecialty certifications\, a member of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education Review Committee for O bstetrics and Gynecology residencies and fellowships as well as a member of the Milestones Committee\, a member of National Institutes of Health Repro ductive Biology Study Section\, an NIH grant awardee for 15 years\, and a r eviewer and editorial board member of several journals. He has authored ove r 150 scientific articles\, textbook chapters\, research abstracts\, and ot her medical publications. Most recently\, he continues as a medical educato r for medical students\, residents\, and fellows\, and served as the interi m Executive Director for the Southeast Michigan Center for Medical Educatio n.
