Diversity & Inclusion 1.0 - Awaren ess(This is onsite training)

Awareness – Th e goal of this interactive training is to provide participants with a basic awareness of cultural diversity as well as how culture influences the work place\, campus and clinical care environment at Washington University Schoo l of Medicine.

The class is a combination of experiential and didacti c training designed to:

Define diversity\, equity and inclusion< /li>
Communicate the importance of diversity and inclusion initiatives t o the university
Explore the impact of exclusion
Understand the importance of being an ally

How to Register: Registration must be completed by logging into https://wustl.sabacloud.com/ and selecting HR - Divers ity & Inclusion 1.0\, course number 00006181\, class ID number 000062489.

How to attend the training: This is an onsite traini ng. Please remember to sign the log when entering the physical training lo cation to be awarded credit for attending. Please arrive to the room within 15 minutes of start to receive credit for completing the training.

< strong>What to do after training is completed: After the training has been completed and the completion update is made by the Office of Dive rsity\, Equity & Inclusion\, learners receive a system generated Email from Washington University Learn@Work. The Email contains a link to t he evaluation. Complete the evaluation as soon as you can to avoid action m essages of “in progress\, pending action or “incomplete” in your Plan that is not associated with the training\, but the evaluation. Please allow at least five days for us to update your completion status fo r this training.
