Why did you choose WashU for your residency?
Wash U combined all the things I was looking for in a residency program: excellent clinical and surgical training, tons of fellowship and research opportunities, and amazing people! The residents I met during my interview day were so supportive of each other and it felt like they were all members of the same team which left a lasting impression on me.

What do you like best about being a resident here at WashU?
My co-residents! They make even the busiest days fun!

What are your career goals/interests?
I’m interested in ultimately utilizing both my MD and MBA with a career combining clinical medicine with hospital administration to help improve care for patients. Too often we all want to achieve the same goal but have different ways of communicating what changes need to be made within the system to make these goals a reality.

What do you do outside of work?
My fiance and I love to try new restaurants and St. Louis is full of delicious food! We’re currently in the process of working through a list of places we want to try but it keeps getting longer! I also take dance classes (contemporary and tap) to recharge after a long day at the hospital and enjoy spending time outside, usually in Forest Park, when the weather is nice.
