WashU Ob/Gyn > Patient Information > Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery
Our team of specialists is devoted exclusively to the treatment of patients with female pelvic floor disorders. Your comfort and quality of life are our highest priorities.
The pelvic floor includes the female pelvic organs – the uterus, bladder, vagina and rectum – as well as the muscles, ligaments, connective tissue and nerves that help support and control them.
Our urogynecologists are board-certified obstetrician/gynecologists (Ob/Gyns) with expertise in the evaluation and treatment of pelvic floor conditions including:
- Incontinence
- Pelvic organ prolapse
- Fistulas
- Bowel disorders
- Birth-related injuries
- Recurrent UTI’s
We approach these conditions with a unique, multidisciplinary approach to achieve the best possible outcomes for patients. Patients receive a comprehensive evaluation at one of our three St. Louis offices, and our physicians work closely with each patient to understand individual needs and customize a treatment plan.
