Physicians using EPIC: Please follow these instructions for EPIC referrals.

Our team:

Providing complete obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound imaging services, our core of physicians are board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and subspecialty board-certified in either maternal-fetal medicine or clinical genetics.

They have extensive experience in the performance and interpretation of targeted ultrasound examinations to detect fetal malformations, as well as diagnostic procedures such as genetic amniocentesis, percutaneous umbilical cord blood sampling (PUBS) and both transabdominal and transcervical chorionic villus sampling (CVS). Specialized ultrasound studies, including Doppler evaluation of the umbilical cord, fetus, placenta and ovaries are used to evaluate particular disorders of fetal growth and development.

The ultrasound staff includes two board-certified genetic counselors and 11 sonographers who are registered in obstetrics/gynecology and who specialize in obstetric and gynecologic sonography. Our physicians work closely with the neonatologists and pediatric subspecialists at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Many patients referred to us are at increased risk of carrying a fetus with a chromosome disorder or structural malformation by virtue of their age, family history or having had an abnormal ultrasound or serum screen (blood test) performed in their own physician’s offices.
