What are your hobbies?
“I love going on hiking/backpacking trips with family and friends! During residency I did the Inca Trail as well as part of the Appalachian trail (which I hope to someday complete). At home, I like to brew my own kombucha and hang out with my cat Ethel.”
What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
“I’ve been playing D&D for 6 years!”

Why did you choose WashU for fellowship?
“I chose WashU because of the camradarie and sense of community in the family planning department, as well as the relationship between other departments. I also appreciated the mix of advocacy, clinical training, and research.”
What are you looking forward to the most by being a fellow at WashU?
“Really, everything! From clinical/surgical skills, to research, to advocacy, I’m ready to jump into this fellowship! And I’m very excited to be able to return to my home state and serve patients here who are seeking care.”
What are your career goals?
“I am looking forward to developing my clinical CFP skills, with the hopes of being able to teach future residents and medical students. I also hope to continue to develop my advocacy skills so I can contribute towards improving family planning access.”
What are your research interests?
“I’m interested in research that will improve health care equity and family planning access among people of color, immigrants, and those who do not speak English as a first language.”
