Residency

Why did you choose WashU for your residency?
Wash U has everything: high volume, high acuity, diverse patients, unmatched research opportunities, extensive subspecialty exposure, early mentorship, top-notch surgical training and incredible faculty & co-residents who support one another. Plus, St. Louis is a vibrant & affordable place to live! There are an endless number of local restaurants to try and events to attend with your co-residents! (During my first week of intern year I attended the US Gymnastics Olympic Trials just 15 minutes from the hospital!)

What are you looking forward to the most by being a resident here at WashU?
I’m looking forward to learning from leaders in ob/gyn on every rotation, to serving a diverse patient population, to working alongside fabulous co-residents from across the country, to training in a gorgeous new hospital that overlooks Forest Park, and to biking to work everyday!

Currently, have any fellowship plans for after residency?
No plans yet – keeping my options open and excited for all the subspecialty exposure and mentorship available at Wash U!
