Residency
Why did you choose WashU for your residency?
I wanted a residency program where I would train really hard, work with amazing people, and live somewhere new that had a lot of opportunities for advocacy and a ton of fun things to do (i.e. eat) outside of the hospital!
What are you looking forward to the most by being a resident here at WashU?
Everyone is so driven and intelligent yet kind, fun, and grounded. I can’t wait to serve the STL+surrounding community alongside this team.
Currently, have any fellowship plans after residency?
Maybe one of the surgical subspecialties, but still deciding and just super excited to explore all the options that WashU offers!
Personal
Hometown: Atlanta, GA
Pronouns: she/her/hers
What do you do outside of work?
I love to host dinner parties, call my friends/family on long walks, read, and run. Also, grocery shopping — Trader Joe’s and Costco are truly therapeutic.
What’s something that most people don’t know about you?
My dream job in elementary school was to be a window washer because I weirdly loved Windex. I don’t get it either.
