Why did you choose WashU for fellowship?
In addition to WashU’s stellar reputation for clinical and research excellence, I was drawn to the idea of providing complex care in the sociopolitical climate of STL/Missouri, which so closely reflects that of my home state.
What are you looking forward to the most by being a fellow at WashU?
Working with my new colleagues! The entire Family Planning department has been so kind and welcoming to me from the very first interview.
What advice would you give OBGYN residents applying for your chosen fellowship specialty?
Don’t let the application process take the spark out of you. Complex Family Planning is a wonderful, supportive community of like-minded passionate people dedicated to the cause of Reproductive Justice! Getting to be a part of it is a privilege and a joy.
What are your career goals?
I hope to develop my voice as an advocate for Reproductive Justice, particularly in the current landscape of policy shifts in reproductive rights.
