Dr. Whelan has been hands down the best healthcare provider I have ever had. Dr. Whelan is the queen of informed consent and made me feel at ease during a crummy situation.
Dr. Whelan listened to every one of my concerns and hesitations about birth control options to look into if we chose to go with something else because of my clotting disorder. She also has a presence that made me feel so at ease. Before doing anything, she always explained what the procedure entails and what I should expect.
As a healthcare provider myself, I hope that I make my patients feel as comfortable as I felt with Dr. Whelan.
