Attached please find a report by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation on transgender violence, along with guidelines for transgender care in the perioperative setting and gaps in transgender care within OBGYN.
Anti-transgender bias + structural racism = devastating levels of discrimination
Fatal anti-transgender violence dispropriationaly affects people of color.
In the Anti-Transgender Violence Report in 2019, Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s found 71% of all known victims of anti-transgender fatal violence from 2013-2019 were black transgender women.
