I had a teacher who once told me to take as many pictures as I could, especially of significant events. I think this has been so useful to me because I value quality time with others so much and many of the memories I’ve made with my loved ones are so much more accessible via a picture than via my imperfect brain. Live pictures are my favorite, they take me back and I feel like I am there again.

What do you do outside of work? family? hobbies?
I have a lovely cat named Loki who is very demanding of my affection, so he consumes all my time! JK. I love spending time with my friends and family, who also are in St. Louis. When it’s warm out, I like spending time outdoors and breaking a sweat (this includes gardening, jogging, hiking). I also enjoy going to art events and hands-on learning!
What’s something that most people don’t know about you?
I was a personal trainer for a few years throughout undergrad. I also am just now learning to swim (I know, should have learned a long time ago).
Name some things you’d take to a deserted island.
My lipstick, my cat, and a phone to call my loved ones (is that allowed?)
What is your favorite part about your job?
Patient interactions are my favorite!
