“I have a weirdly good sense of direction and have never actually gotten lost before”

Why did you choose WashU for fellowship?

“Aside from knowing that I would get well-rounded training seeing diverse and acute maternal and fetal pathology and have excellent research opportunities, I was most impressed by the people I met and the collegiality of the department. I felt like I was getting the best of all worlds.”

What are you looking forward to the most by being a fellow at WashU?

“Getting to take a deeper dive into the part of OBGYN I am most passionate about and getting to provide equitable care to the large population we serve”

What are your career goals?
“I hope to provide evidence-based care, expand my role as an educator, and conduct research and quality improvement initiatives to better understand and prevent maternal and fetal morbidity”

What are your research interests?

“Cardiometabolic health, hypertensive disorders, mental health, quality improvement”

What advice would you give OBGYN residents applying for your chosen fellowship specialty?

“Enjoy the process! It is so much fun getting to meet future colleagues like-minded individuals from across the country.”
