WashU Medicine Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology proudly sponsored the Energy Award at the Power of One Gala for Girls on the Run St. Louis (GOTR-STL). As a strong advocate for youth empowerment and community well-being, WashU Medicine Peds Gyn is honored to support an organization that fosters confidence, health, and achievement in young girls.
Girls on the Run St. Louis is a transformative nonprofit program that serves girls in 3rd through 8th grades, a critical time in their development. Through an engaging, experience-based curriculum that integrates running, the program inspires girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident. Participants develop positive self-awareness, increase their confidence, and experience the pride of accomplishing personal and community goals, including completing a 5K and engaging in service projects.
The Energy Award is a cherished tradition within Girls on the Run, where teams conclude each practice by recognizing teammates for their positivity, determination, and support of one another. This year’s recipients embody the Core Values of Girls on the Run, championing its mission and ensuring its lasting impact throughout the St. Louis community.
WashU Medicine Peds Gyn was proud to sponsor this award for Polsinelli, PC, a dedicated supporter of GOTR-STL for over 15 years.
We extend our gratitude to Girls on the Run St. Louis for their continued commitment to empowering young girls, as well as to our faculty and staff who attended the gala in support of this incredible mission. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of future generations!
