Pedal the Cause is a charity bike ride that funds cancer research in St. Louis. Our team, Gyn Onc’s Teal on Wheels, rides each year to raise awareness of uterine, ovarian, cervical, vulvar, and vaginal cancers.
Just in time for Pedal the Cause each year, September has been established as Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month (GCAM), to reach more and more people each year.
Pedal the Cause provides critical funding for cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital through our annual cycling challenge. Since 2010, over $56 million has been raised, with 100% of those funds directly supporting 274 cancer research projects.
