Jayme Trevino, CFP Fellow, will take on ACOG Darney/Landy Fellowship after graduation

Congratulations to graduating CFP fellow, Jayme Trevino, MD, MPH, who will assume the Darney/Landy Fellowship position with ACOG after graduation. The Darney/Landy Fellow position is a one-year, post- Complex Family Planning Fellowship placement for obstetrician-gynecologists that honors the clinical excellence of Phil Darney, MD, and the collaborative advocacy of Uta Landy, PhD. This position offers individuals the opportunity to develop a deep knowledge of and relationship with ACOG; influence and support the advancement of ACOG’s clinical guidance and programmatic work on abortion and contraception; cultivate networks within the family planning community and other subspecialties; and build advocacy, leadership, and management skills.

Jayme Trevino, MD, MPH

As the ACOG Darney/Landy Fellow, I have the unique opportunity to combine my clinical experience with my passion for patient advocacy, reproductive justice, and public health. My goal is to amplify my patients’ voices to advocate for just and equitable reproductive care, and to fight for evidence-based policy. I hope to reduce inequities in reproductive healthcare on an individual, community, and national level.
