What are you looking forward to the most by being a resident here at WashU?
“I am so excited to learn and advocate alongside such an exceptional group of residents and develop into the physician I have always dreamed of being!”
What goals do you hope to accomplish during your residency?
“I hope to gain confidence in my knowledge and skills and learn to use them to advance medicine and advocate for equitable care.”
What are your research interests?
“My research has focused primarily on sexually transmitted infections with an emphasis on prenatal screening. One goal of mine is to help tackle the rising rates of congenital syphilis.”

“I love trying new restaurants, reading a mountain of books, and spending a whole day baking cinnamon rolls.”

“I was a high school teacher before medical school!”

“At this time, I plan to be a generalist as I love all aspects of OB/GYN!”
What advice would you give medical students applying for a residency in OBGYN?
“Stay confident in yourself and be so proud of all you have already accomplished! You have crafted such a unique story and do not be afraid to let that shine!”
