“The people I have met during research and my away rotation at WashU have been the most supportive, inspiring, and hardworking mentors and friends. Furthermore, with the excellent clinical training, focus on addressing healthcare disparities, and robust research support, WashU has everything I was looking for in a residency program.”
What are you looking forward to the most by being a resident here at WashU?
“Like most everyone else: the people! I am excited to meet my co-residents and work with the faculty and staff at WashU.”

“Do my best to learn and care for my patients and colleagues!”

“Obesity in pregnancy, social determinants of health, medical education”

What do you do outside of work?
“Anything that involves walking: evening strolls, hiking, vacuuming, roaming the aisles of Costco. Other activities include riding an electric scooter in forest park, singing while playing guitar/piano when no one is around, and board game nights with a lot of snacks.”
We know it’s early, but do you have any fellowship plans for after residency?
“Interested in MFM but also excited to explore all the subspecialties.”
What advice would you give medical students applying for a residency in OBGYN?
“Be kind to yourself during this process. And don’t forget to care for and uplift those around you.”
