Why did you choose WashU for your residency?
During my away rotation, I was deeply inspired by the compassionate, advocacy-driven care modeled by the residents and faculty at WashU, and I immediately fell in love with the program. The culture stood out as both supportive and motivating, and I knew these were the people I wanted to learn from and work alongside. Contributing to the St. Louis community—my home city—is incredibly meaningful to me, and I’m thrilled to train here.
What are you looking forward to the most by being a resident here at WashU?
I am so excited for the opportunity to train alongside passionate residents who share my commitment to women’s health and reproductive science, build meaningful friendships with my co-residents, and to grow into a confident, skilled Obstetrician and Gynecologist while caring for the St. Louis community.
What goals do you hope to accomplish during your residency?
During residency, I hope to strengthen my ability to advocate for patients through compassionate, patient-centered care. I also hope to act as a mentor to medical students and future residents at WashU.
What are your research interests?
My research interests include the impact of social media on obstetrics and gynecology as well as the influence of metabolism and obesity on fertility and pregnancy.

Currently, I am hoping to be a generalist! I really love all aspects of this field!
What advice would you give medical students applying for a residency in OBGYN?
My biggest advice is to gain meaningful exposure to the field of OBGYN and seek out strong mentors who can guide and support you through the process.
