Why did you choose WashU for your residency?
The people I met during my time in medical school at WashU showed me how much they genuinely care about helping you reach your goals and are always gracious with their time and energy to support you. Additionally, the top-notch clinical training, diverse patient population, robust research infrastructure support, and commitment to health equity and advocacy were exactly what I was looking for in a residency program.
What are you looking forward to the most by being a resident here at WashU?
I am most excited about working with and building relationships with my amazing co-residents, colleagues, and future patients!
What goals do you hope to accomplish during your residency?
I want to uphold my values to center compassion and equity within my work, and I hope to develop as a knowledgable, confident, and capable physician and advocate.
What are your research interests?
Health equity, community and global health, immunizations, disparities in prevention and screening, hypertensive disorders in pregnancy, infectious diseases, implementation science

What do you do outside of work?
I love dancing, watching musicals at the Muny and Fabulous Fox theaters, trying new restaurants, walking in Forest Park, reading, movie nights, singing/playing music, and spending time with friends and family!
What’s something that most people don’t know about you?
I have visited 30+ U.S. National Parks and 5 continents!
We know it’s early, but do you have any fellowship plans for after residency?
I’m undecided and excited to explore during residency!
What advice would you give medical students applying for a residency in OBGYN?
Follow your passions, stay true to yourself, think deeply about what aspects matter most to you, and don’t forget to give yourself grace and kindness throughout the process.
