What are your hobbies?
“I love exploring St. Louis with my husband and our two dogs—a golden retriever and a mini bernedoodle. We’re big fans of the city’s diverse food scene, which reflects the city’s diverse community. When I’m not at work, you’ll find me walking the dogs through Forest Park listening to a podcast, making pottery for my love of espresso, or watching just about any reality dating show.”
What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
“I have a black belt in Taekwondo.”

What advice would you give OBGYN residents applying for your chosen fellowship specialty?
“Stay curious and proactive! If you think REI might be for you, start building relationships early with mentors in the field and seek out opportunities for exposure—whether through electives, research, or shadowing. Be genuine about why you’re drawn to REI—whether it’s the science, patient relationships, or the opportunity to innovate!”

Why did you choose WashU for fellowship?
“I chose WashU because I wanted to be part of a collaborative and cohesive team committed to evidence-based care. From the supportive learning environment to career mentorship and strong research opportunities, the REI fellowship program at WashU really has it all. Plus, I’m from the Midwest and genuinely enjoy living in St. Louis!”
What are you looking forward to the most by being a fellow at WashU?
“I’m excited to continue my training at an institution with a strong legacy of advancing reproductive medicine and join an incredible team that has supported me in my goal of becoming an REI.”
What are your career goals?
“I’m especially looking forward to deepening my surgical skills through the SRS Surgical Scholars Track and enhancing my research abilities through the department’s strong research infrastructure. I’m also committed to growing as a medical educator and am excited to do so through formal teaching pathways in an environment that values academic mentorship.”
