What are your hobbies? 
I am enjoying exploring St. Louis parks with my husband, daughter, and dog. I also love running while listening to audiobooks, road trips, and hosting dinner parties.

What’s one thing most people don’t know about you? 

I will only eat Double Stuffed Oreos. The regular ones just aren’t worth it.

Fellowship

Why did you choose WashU for fellowship?

I felt that the interview, although virtual, portrayed a program that I wanted to be a part of. Everyone was extremely welcoming and genuinely excited to talk about WashU.

What are you looking forward to the most by being a fellow at WashU?

I am looking forward to getting to know and working with attendings, fellows, and residents in the department. In my interview, I was impressed by how collaborative the department is with joint didactics across subspecialties, and I am excited to be part of this.

What are your career goals?
I hope to learn about and become a strong clinician in the field of REI. I also hope to work on research projects that increase affordability and access to reproductive health care.

What are your research interests?

Quality Improvement and Workflow Efficiency, Medical Education, Reproductive Public Health, Recurrent Pregnancy Loss

What advice would you give OBGYN residents applying for your chosen fellowship specialty?

It is ok if you are coming from a residency that doesn’t have an REI division or fellowship! You can still match! Especially in regard to research – it is more important for your projects to be good and thorough than they be REI-specific.
