Residency

Why did you choose WashU for your residency?
I chose WashU for the incredible faculty and residents, clinical training and research opportunities, high volume and acuity, and the diversity of the patient population. I also appreciated the program’s commitment to the health of not only Barnes’ patients but also the broader St. Louis region. I love living in St. Louis and am thrilled to continue serving and advocating for this community!

What are you looking forward to the most by being a resident here at WashU?
I’m excited to focus on the area of medicine that I love most; learn from talented upper level residents, fellows, and attendings; develop skills as a clinician and surgeon; and get to know my co-residents.

What are your research interests?
Maternal morbidity and mortality, medical education, social determinants of health

Thinking about MFM but still open to anything!

What advice would you give medical students applying for a residency in OBGYN?
Look for a residency where you feel you connect with the people and align with the values of the program.
