Probstein Professorship in Surgery with Dr. Kemi Doll

J. G. Probstein Visiting Professorship, hosted by the Division of Gynecologic Oncology, welcomed Kemi Doll, MD, MSCR.

Dr. Kemi Doll is a gynecologic oncologist at the University of Washington. She is a Professor in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology at the UW School of Medicine and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Health Systems and Population Health.


Her research centers on examining Black-White racial inequity in endometrial cancer in the US. She has been funded by the NIH, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), and several other foundations.


Dr. Doll is a Founding Director of The Gynecologic Research and Cancer Equity (GRACE) Center. Their mission is to investigate and ameliorate causes of disproportionate suffering from benign and oncologic gynecologic health conditions. She also co-founded ECANA: The Endometrial Cancer Action Network for African Americans, a national nonprofit she led for five years. The impact leads through community-rooted advocacy and education.

Dr. Doll presented “Gynecologic Research and Cancer Equity: Progress, Process, and Future Directions at The GRACE Center.”
