Our Pediatric, Adolescent, and Young Adult Gynecology division had the wonderful opportunity to celebrate and support young girls from across the St. Louis area during the Girls on the Run 5k: a milestone event the participants had been enthusiastically training for over the past several weeks.
The event brought together thousands of runners, families, and volunteers in a vibrant, uplifting atmosphere that highlighted the strength, determination, and spirit of these young athletes. Our team was thrilled to be a part of the day, not only cheering on the runners but also engaging with the very community they are so passionate about serving every day. It was a meaningful reminder of the positive impact that encouragement, mentorship, and accessible healthcare can have on young people as they grow.
