Congratulations to Julia Burd, MD, and Bridget Huysman, MD, MPH, Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellows in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, who are both recipients of grants from the Foundation for Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Dr. Burd’s project is titled “Mode of cervical assessment in preterm prelabor rupture of membranes,” and Dr. Huysman’s is titled “Racism and discrimination on L&D: Birth experiences of those experiencing morbidity.” Their award periods run through September 2024.
