PhD student Kaci Martin from the Frolova lab received the Rosalind Kornfeld Student Leadership Award from the Academic Women’s Network last week. This award is given to a graduate or medical student that has demonstrated outstanding leadership in service to, or advancement of women within the community. Our Department Chair, Dr. Dineo Khabele, was there to cheer her on! Way to go, Kaci!
